There is just one word Accept, can change your life. You often heard this statement: Accept this, Accept that, in your life by your parents, friends, siblings, etc.
But do you really think what should be accepted or what should not be?
Yes, you heard me right!
There should not be accepting everything in your life because accepting bad habits like self-degradation, anger, self-pity, anxiety put you in trouble.
Accept Your Past But Don’t Be Bitter
You are not alone, everyone has his/her painful memory.
There can be different situations related to your past: Someone hurt you, you did something wrong, your school or days were not good, financial problems, family issues, etc. There can be a number of issues. But in all situations, you have to accept and move on.
Being present, it seems simple advice but it’s not that easy to follow it instantly. Because your mind is not capable enough to forget broken memories, fears, anxieties, and regression.
Although it is not easy to live in the present by forgetting everything still my personal experiences say it is better to come out of this as soon as possible. Because this does not harm anyone else, ultimately it is harmful to you. This ruins your creativity, health, happiness, etc. At last, it takes your whole life gradually.
If you are still unable to forget your past, you should analyze it, talk with a person whom you trust, change your environment. Accept your past and let it go, don’t let your emotions “mature” into bitterness. Because in a situation of bitterness, your action comes from your pain, not from your heart.
Accept Your Mistakes But Don’t Repeat Them
Doing mistakes is ok because you are human a being. Humans are not perfect like God.
You can learn from your mistakes by analyzing it thoroughly. If you are feeling guilty, don’t ignore it, embrace it. And find that your guilt is useful or not. So acknowledge your guilt, avoid bad actions & do not make you a bad person.
After accepting your mistake, find a way to make it correct. If you are hurting someone, talk to him/her to ask for an apology.
You know, the repetition of mistakes leads to a depressive situation. And you can do not undo your mistakes, this will create a low image in your & other’s eyes. Forgetting yourself is hard when you repeatedly make mistakes. You can not accept your mistakes until you promise yourself that you will not repeat the same mistakes again and again.
Accept Your Flaws But Don’t Let Them Overpower You
Looking different from your flaws is not easy.
Learn to laugh at your flaws and never take yourself too seriously. People can take advantage of your flaws if you do not handle them properly.
Start your day with a positive note and practice gratitude daily.
Prepare your thoughts and ask your mind: which thought is helpful and serve my purpose in life.
Enhance your full strength in other areas where you can, that way you feel confident.
It is ok to have the fear of your flaws but doesn’t let them overpower you.
