Morning Routine
Step 1
Water
The very first step is to wash your face with cool water. Use lukewarm water in winters. Don’t use hot water as it keeps your skin dry.
Step 2
Moisturizing Cleanser
Don’t opt for the cleanser that is labeled scrubs or foaming. Use alcohol or fragrance-free products that can remove all impurities from your skin without leaving your skin dry.

Step 3
Toner Is Optional
A good toner always restores your skin’s PH level and it helps to remove excess oil & makeup residue on your face.
Buy a toner that contains salicylic acid, hydroxy acid, glycolic acid, and you can also try Korean toners as well.
You may replace your toner with rose water or completely ignore this step.
Step 4
Antioxidant Serum
The antioxidant serum helps to prevent collagen breakdown that’s why it is important to use it during day time. Look for the highly potent antioxidant serum that has vitamins A, E & C.
Step 5
Lightweight Moisturizer Or Cream
Research says that look for a moisturizer that contains Hyaluronic acid and Dimethicone. Or go for a cream which is especially for dry skin.
Step 6
Water-based Sunscreen
Apply sunscreen before you put on any makeup and protect your skin from UVB rays. To keep your skin hydrated, go for water-based sunscreen as it won’t clog your pores.
Step 7
Mineral Foundation Or Tinted Moisturizer
Tinted moisturizer gives a little tint to the skin. It contains iron oxides and titanium dioxide. Tinted moisturizer gives hydration to the skin and evens out the complexion.
The mineral foundation provides natural makeup. If you want to cover up particular areas, use concealer or highlighter. BB cream is also a good option.
Step 7
Hydrating Lipstick
Invest in the lipstick that contains shea butter or jojoba oil, glycerin. Avoid matte lipstick as it gives the drying effect.
For extra moisturizing effect, apply lip balm before using lipstick.
Exfoliate your lips with honey & sugar scrub weekly.
Day Time Routine
Step 1
Extra Care With Moisturizer
Don’t leave your skin naked during the day. Apply moisturizer again to cover up dry patches and hydrate your skin.
If your skin feels moisturized enough, there is no need to apply anything.
Step 2
Lip Balm
It is very essential to put on lip gloss or lip balm during the day because lips are the least capability to stay smooth. Give a thin layer of balm every 3-4 hours or whenever you feel.
Wear lip balm which contains sunscreen.
Step 3
Healthy Food
Start taking veg and fruits rich in vitamins A, B, C, and antioxidants. Water-based fruits and some yogurt will definitely help you.
You should also take vegetable soup and a healthy salad with your lunch.
Step 4
Get Hydrated
Keep a bottle of water with you throughout the day because your skin needs more hydration. You ought to drink 2 liters of water every day.
Night Routine
Step 1
Cleaning Lotion
Remove your makeup before going to bed and wash your face properly. Dabur Gulabari Rose Glow Face Cleanser is best for cleansing.
Olive oil is the second step to nourish and remove your makeup completely. Massage olive oil onto your face and wipe off with the help of a tissue.
Step 2
Toner
A toner should be applied two times daily once in the morning and once at night but for dry skin, only one-time(at night) application of toner is enough. Because excessive use of toner may dry out your skin.
Step 3
Retinol Serum
Retinol serum has smaller molecules and is best for anti-aging. This serum penetrates your skin better and may reduce fine lines & wrinkles.
Retinol serum can cause skin irritation & dryness so it is recommended to use it only every other day in starting.
Step 4
Night Cream Or Hydrating Moisturizer
Choose a cream which is especially for dry skin like Biotique Bio Wheat Germ FIRMING FACE and BODY NIGHT CREAM.
Focus on dry patches and apply a thick layer of it all over the face before going to bed.
Step 5
Before Bed
Start taking a glass of milk with strawberries before bed.
Step 6
Night Time Best Humidifier (Optional)
Dry air can be the reason for your chapped and dehydrated skin. To avoid this, you should invest in a good humidifier. This device helps to add moisture to the air.
There are two types of humidifiers:
- Warm-mist humidifiers.
- Cool-mist humidifiers.
Choose the second one as they are safe to touch, moisturize rich, and give a cooling effect.
Note: Please clean and maintain your humidifier, otherwise it may cause a worse or negative effect.
Humidity A Room Naturally
Houseplants
Houseplants are a very good option for humidifying your house. But keep in mind you must spray water in the plants once or two times a day.
Spray The Curtains
Spraying curtains with water is helpful for humidity but don’t do this process often.
Tip
Use face masks one or two times a week. This process helps to remove patches, dryness, redness by the time and also gives moisture to your face.
Try to use those masks which contain moisturizing ingredients or make the homemade masks with natural ingredients.

These are some doable steps I can follow in routine, thanks for breaking the post in to day and night time.
Doble steps but not the same. Some are mandatory to both morning & night and some are different according to their types;)
I have a very simple skin care routine be it day or night.
Washing face with neem himalaya face wash,
Applying rose water on face with cotton pads, and then applying and massaging with aloe vera gel. That’s it. I don’t use anything else on my face. 😁. Great content. Keep writing
Skin routine can not be the same for all. It is according to the skin type, texture & needs. I explained almost every point here like those who are suffering from wrinkles, anti-aging, and other skin problems. By the way, good to know about your skin routine;)
