Gas Geyser Vs Electric Geyser
I have used both geysers (gas and electric). Earlier I used a gas geyser and now I am using an electric geyser.
Gas Geyser:
- Instantly hot water by switching on the tap. Fire lightens up instantly after switching on the tap and you can get hot water as much as you want. My experience: Sometimes you need to open and close the tab twice or thrice only when there is an automatic cut.
-
You can take unlimited hot water. Because there is no water storage inside.
-
No time wastage.
-
Gas geysers use LPG gas so you need a gas cylinder. In our house 3 cylinders are required for the whole winter (Because we use a lot of water).
-
Need no electricity to run. If you are living in a small town or area, a gas geyser will be the best option for you.
-
Need to change cells as per usage.
-
You will get these geysers at low prices.
-
There is no wastage possible in gas geysers because you get instant hot water. You don’t need to open these geysers for long for heating water.
-
You must install these geysers in an open area out of your bathroom for safety purposes.
Electric Geyser
- You can’t get instant hot water from electric geysers. You need to open these electric geysers 25 to 30 minutes before taking a bath.
-
Generally, you will get limited hot water in one cycle. You can’t get unlimited hot water like a gas geyser. But again you need extra hot water, you have to fill your pots before and this is a time consuming process.
-
Time consuming process.
-
No LPG gas, no cylinder required.
-
All time electricity is required. If you live in the city, you can consider it.
-
There is no headache to change anything.
-
You can’t get these geysers at low prices like gas geysers.
-
Some people say there is a wastage of electricity in electric geysers. Because if you need a small amount of hot water, you need to wait for 30 minutes or for a long time to get the hot water. My experience: If you need limited hot water, just open this electric geyser for 10 to 15 minutes, and you will get proper hot water.
-
For safety’s sake, you must close the electric geyser while taking a bath. This means you should open the geyser before taking a bath and close the geyser when the water warms (You will get to know this when the geyser’s red light goes off).
