Respect yourself and others will respect you. – Confucius
- Be true to yourself first. Know the reason for losing your respect. If you did not do anything wrong, forget about the people what they think.
-
You should try to rebuild your respect otherwise you will definitely hate yourself in the future.
-
Don’t be stuck in self-pity. Everyone loses her self-respect somewhere in life. No one is perfect. But don’t lose your confidence, stick to your beliefs and core values.
-
Don’t worry about what other people think about you. If you do so means you are giving importance to others and also provoking them that they can misbehave with you.
-
If you are repeatedly on anger about the situation why this happens to me, then you will definitely waste time. Rather you should think, you can still recover your self-esteem.
-
Take immediate action on the work or things that you can change. Do not waste things, which you can not change.
-
Free yourself completely. Do not change your decisions according to others. You have to control your life. Don’t give them the power to others that they can build your life as they want.
-
Don’t show your feelings to others except for your family, that you are feeling bad when you lose your dignity.
-
Don’t overreact, if you lose your dignity. Be normal, that way, you will not feel awkward.
-
Respect yourself, no matter others are doing it for you or not. No one gives value to the person who does not respect himself/herself.
-
It takes time to regain or recover your self-esteem. Feel your direction from within and work accordingly.
We don’t need bigger cars or fancier clothes. We need self-respect, identity, community, love, variety, beauty, challenge, and a purpose in living that is greater than material accumulation. – Donella Meadows

A really excellent set of points. A loss of self-respect can only be understood by examining our own actions with brutal honesty and judging accurately if they are correct or incorrect. If there is nothing wrong with our actions then as you say we just do not have to worry about others. Good post.
Thanks, I am glad that you read my post;)
Some excellent points here. For life to carry on, it is essential that we pick up our pieces and regain that self confidence to move on.
That’s correct;)
