Importance Of Skin Care
- Skin confidence is important, it boosts your self-image & self-esteem. Your physical appearance is affected by your unhealthy skin so you have to remain vigilant about your skin care routine.

Healthy skin care habits save a lot of money in the long run. If you give some time to your skin, it will help you avoid a plastic surgeon or dermatologist.

Glowing and beautiful skin needs time. If you want to look young after 30 years from now, you have to follow a healthy daily skin care routine.

Everybody’s skin is different, so it might be possible that another person’s skin needs less attention rather than you or vice versa. Don’t give yourself a wrong chance and follow the negative daily skin care routine.

Prevention is better than cure. Fixing skin issues in the future is more complicated, so start giving some time to your skin by your healthy habits or healthy diet.
Skin Care Advice For Busy & Working Women

I can understand working women don’t have time to follow the strict daily skin care routine but you can still include a healthy diet in your daily meal. And remember to avoid too much sugar, alcohol, smoking, and junk food.

Remove makeup & wash your face two times a day with cold water. There is no need to give extra time to clean your face daily, it is a few seconds process. You need to make this habit only.

Moisturize your skin with aloe-vera before going to bed. Aloe-vera can do wonders to your skin if you are applying it overnight. Try yourself and see the magic.

UV rays are very harmful to your skin. To protect your skin from the sun, you should apply sunscreen daily 30 minutes before moving out. Remember to reapply sunscreen after 2-3 hours throughout the day.

Pollution affects your skin more than housewives. So you must exfoliate your skin once or twice a week for removing dead skin cells, dirt & bacteria.

At last, adopt the natural skin care routine at least on your weekends or whenever you have time if not daily. Taking a healthy diet and following the perfect skin care routine work together for healthy skin so you must not ignore the skin care routine completely.

1. Natural Moisturizer
It is the best way to rejuvenate your skin in any weather. Proper nourishment and care keep your skin glowing.
All the other types of moisturizers may good but try to moisture your skin naturally. Because nothing beats natural nourishment of skin with home products.
For Dry Skin
Milk
Raw milk provides nourishment, softness, glow, and keeps your skin youthful, clean & healthy. This also works as an anti-aging agent.
For using milk, dip cotton in raw milk & apply it on your face. Start rubbing your face gently with your fingers after 20 minutes. Finally, wash your face with normal water.
You can also try different milk face mask recipes on your face.
Caution: Don’t use milk if you are allergic or do a small patch test in case you have any doubt.
Coconut Oil
Hydrating your skin with coconut oil removes the dead skin cells and make your skin soft and smooth.
Coconut oil contains essential fatty acids and it’s not only useful for your face but also helps all your body parts like lips, scalp, improve acne, enhance eyelashes & remove dandruff.
Like any other cream or moisturizer, coconut oil does not contain alcohol or silicone.
For Oily Skin
Tea Tree Oil
Tea tree oil helps to remove bacteria, fungal infection, acne because it consists of antibacterial, antimicrobial, antifungal, antiviral, antiseptic compounds.
A few drops of the oil in warm water makes up for the loss of moisturizer.
This oil is not harsh & doesn’t cause excessive dryness which gives you flawless skin.
Aloe Vera
Aloe vera absorbs excess oil which built up on oily skin. It provides nourishment to your skin because of Vitamin A, Vitamin C & Vitamin E. It not only heals acne but also helps to remove scars created by acne.
There are different ways to use aloe vera to treat oily skin like: aloe vera with honey face pack, with lemon juice, cucumber face mask and with a rose-water face pack and direct application of the gel or juice of aloe vera.
Caution: It causes an allergic reaction on sensitive skin sometimes. If you are using Aloe vera first time, test it with a small amount on your finger before use. If you see no reaction within 24 to 48 hours then you can use it. Use aloe vera in summers & don’t apply it in the sunlight.
Tomatoes
The use of tomato is very simple, it’s nothing hard. Even busy women also apply this to your face daily.
It not only freshens your skin but also reduces heat on the skin’s surface.
Just cut the piece of tomato and rub lightly at your face. Let it dry to soak the juice for 15 minutes and rinse your skin with water.
Caution: Do not use tomatoes in winters.
2. Beauty Food
You are what you eat, inner glow always comes from your diet.
Makeup works better on your skin when you eat well.
Your diet affects your whole body. Diet not only increases your beauty but also helps to lose weight. Taking a good diet always keeps you healthy and helps to prevent many diseases.
It is totally up to you if you decide, you can control it completely & start eating a healthy diet.
For Dry Skin
Food is helpful to nourish your dry skin so try to eat Sweet Potato, Olive oil, Flaxseed, Nuts, Oysters, Egg, Pomegranate, Coconut oil. Apart from this, drink enough water.
For Oily Skin
Oily skin leads to acne and your nutrition directly associated with skin health. Foods for oily skin like Coconut water, Banana, Cucumber, Oranges, Lemon, Green Vegetable, whole grains, Avocados.
3. Skin Care Before Bed
Wash your face & makeup before bed. You may not aware of this simple step. This helps to prevent most of the skin problems like acne, bacteria, oil, and wrinkles. If you don’t wash your skin before bed, it will create eye infection and lose the blood supply to the skin.
Not washing the face will increase the dirt day by day & can migrate eye-makeup into your eyes, which may cause irritation. You will get into the pollution & allergies with your bed and mesh your makeup with the pillow.
Whatever skin treatments you are using do not work without washing your face, use any product after washing. Every product works better in the night rather than daytime because skin repairs itself in the night.
For Dry Skin
The process of cleaning dry skin makes your face healthy and avoids skin inflammation. Your skin heats up and produces natural oil at night so take a regular wash and slowly you will find a major change to your skin by this little step. You can avoid dryness, redness, irritation by cleaning & moisturizer.
For Oily Skin
Washing your face is good but over-washing is a problem. Wash your face two times a day once in the morning and once at night or if you feel the dirt or bacteria on your face.
Note: You can break the above rule in the special condition like if you have a skin infection, wear makeup, doctor suggestion, use heavy sunscreen, work up a sweat.
4. Avoid Too Much Sugar
Basically, sugar is not good for your skin and health, but do not cut instantly. Take it in a lesser amount, try to decrease day by day.
If you are running in the 30s, you must apply this rule. Sugar increases the effect of aging, worsen skin condition, activates inflammation, and make your skin rough. Same with the caffeine.
Note: You can take anything in a lesser amount(Directly and instantly cut anything harms for your body. Consume less and take after a break) until you have diseases or doctor denied strictly.
For Dry Skin
Dry skin could be treated by avoiding sugar and caffeine. Light exercise, enough sleeping hours, avoiding stress helps to treat dry skin.
Note: Some skin conditions linked to diabetes.
For Oily Skin
The high presence of sugar in your diet; causing acne, under-eye bags, pallid skin, and dramatic fluctuation in the hormone insulin. Apart from sugar, you should avoid meat, wheat, chili, chocolate, caffeine, butter for oily skin.
5. Vitamin C Rich Foods
Your glowing face comes from both inside and outside. Vitamin C not only affects the cells and repairs the tissues of the body but also solves the skin aging problem & the risk of wrinkles.
For Dry Skin
Dry skin needs hydration so hydrate your skin with vitamin C. It helps to heal the body wounds, reduces the appearance of wrinkles & saves your money.
Vitamin C also helps your dry eyes.
For Oily Skin
Vitamin C solves the problem of oily skin, pimples, brown spots, stretch marks, dark spots, and a dark complexion. Vitamin C has antioxidant property, it protects your skin from damages and sun rays.
6. Fairness Tips
For Dry Skin
- Take almond and olive oil. Mix these two oils and apply this mixture to your face. This will nourish and moisturize your dry skin. This will also remove all the dirt and impurities.
- Apply Vaseline and leave this overnight. If you find too oily then leave it for a few hours and wipe it with a clean cloth.
- Glycerin is helpful for dry skin. Mix 1 tbsp glycerin and 1 tbsp rose-water. Combine both and apply them to your dry skin. Leave it for a few hours and wash it with water.
For Oily Skin
- Mix 2 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tbsp honey with lukewarm water and drink it. It is not necessary to drink it with an empty stomach, you can drink it any time in the day. This is a miracle to make oily skin glow.
- Drink enough water in a day. It helps to get rid of toxins and glow your skin naturally.
- Wash your face two times a day because dirt increases the possibility of acne.
7. Makeup Tips
For Dry Skin
- Choose the foundation that contains oil means liquid foundation. Use cream concealer rather a stick concealer.
- Try to avoid matte lipstick or long-lasting lipstick because these have a drying issue.
- Use setting spray than powder to set your makeup because it has a moisturizer effect.
- Use a liquid blush.
- Refresh your makeup throughout the day.
For Oily Skin
- Use a primer before foundation as it observes the oil that your glands produce. This also helps to make your makeup last longer.
- Use more concealer as it contains less oil than foundation.
- Mineral foundation and oil-free foundation & products lessen the possibility of acne.
- Use natural cleansers. Rubbing the fruits on your face like watermelon and papaya to cleanse your skin naturally.
- Use bloating makeup sheets to absorb excess oil.
8. Avoid Poor Sleep
Of course, Lack of sleep leads to many problems in your body including the skin. Sleep is food for your skin and every part of your body. Not getting enough sleep affects moisture level and skin become imbalanced, dehydrated, and many more problems like redness, dark complexion, dark circles. Here are some studies & researches that how poor sleep affects your skin:
9. Skin Care In Winters
There are a lot of changes in your skin with the changes in the weather so try to change your habits and practice skincare routine accordingly
Don’t overuse hot water while taking a shower or anything. It seems pleasant to use hot water in winters but too much hot water cause problem for your skin. Use lukewarm water instead.
For Dry Skin
- Don’t wear wool directly or avoid inner wools as they are bad for the skin. It leads to itching and many other skin problems.
- Timing is very important to moisturize your skin. Apply lotion or cream just after the bath or wash your skin.
- Apply lotion or cream overnight. Hydrate the dry areas of your body like elbows, feet, hands knees including your face.
- Put a humidifier at your home as it will add moisture and keep your skin hydrated.
For Oily Skin
- Be habitual to apply sunscreen daily in the morning after wash. Try to use makeup products that have inbuilt sunscreen.
- Choose and apply an alcohol-free toner.
- Use a soft and clean towel. It is good for your skin if you could change the towel often.
- Use a few drops of tea tree oil in warm water while jumping into the shower.
